Esport Canada recognizes that we live, work, train, and compete on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territories of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples across Turtle Island. As a national sport organization operating in digital and physical spaces alike, we honor the enduring presence, sovereignty, and rich heritage of Indigenous peoples who have stewarded these lands since time immemorial.
OUR PURPOSE
Esport Canada is a federally registered not-for-profit and the national body for Canadian esports.
We work in partnership with our members to promote the growth and development of esports participation and excellence at all levels of play, for all Canadians.
We advocate for the development of talent in Canada and opportunities to play, work, and thrive in Canada, while striving to create equitable opportunities for all Canadians to engage and excel in esports.

Our vision is to build the Canadian Esports Ecosystem by fostering a thriving national community built on respect, excellence, and love of the game.
Mandate
As Canada’s National Sport Organization (NSO) for esports, Esport Canada has a dual focus:

Our Story
Established in January 2020 as an educational initiative to teach future-ready skills through play is now Canada’s National Sport Organization for esports.
Today, Esport Canada provides safe, structured pathways from K–12 classrooms to the world stage, empowering all Canadians to connect, compete, and excel.
