Meet the EDU National Council
The Esport Canada Education National Council brings together educators, schools, and scholastic esports leaders who are passionate about advancing esports across Canada’s academic landscape. Comprised of recognized Provincial and Territorial School Esports Organizations as well as appointed regional representatives, the Council works collaboratively to support inclusive, student-focused programs and create opportunities for learners of all experience levels to participate and thrive.

Led by Matt Kovacs, Chair of the Education National Council, the Council promotes standards of excellence, shares best practices, and strengthens the connection between education and esports nationwide, helping to build a sustainable and supportive scholastic esports ecosystem.
