Meet the EC COMP Council
Welcome to the Esport Canada Competitive National Council (EC COMP), where we bring together provincial and territorial esports organizations to advocate for the players, coaches, tournament organizers, community members, and industry stakeholders within their home communities. The Council is committed to strengthening competitive pathways, promoting integrity and fair play, and encouraging collaboration across titles, regions, and disciplines. Our focus is on creating sustainable models for player development and safe/structured environments for participation at all levels of play.
Co-Chaired by Jonathon McDaniel (Dignitas) and Gabriel Zoltan-Johan (Esports Coaches Guild), the EC COMP works to build a sustainable and respected competitive ecosystem that aligns with national sport governance standards. Through their leadership, the Council fosters program development, competitive frameworks, and shared advocacy that enable Canadian players and teams to succeed domestically and on the international stage.
2025-2026 ECPS National Council
Members of the ECPS National Council are elected to represent a diverse range of institutions, regions, and perspectives, ensuring fair representation across the Canadian post-secondary esports landscape.
