Bring esports to

YOUR SCHOOL

1. Admin

Talk to your principal about starting an esports program at your school. Help them recognize student interest, academic and social benefits, and identify gear/technical requirements.

2. IT

Once you have approval from your administration, contact your IT department to get things set up. If things are going as smoothly as you had hoped, reach out to us or other schools in your district that are currently running esports programs to help find creative solutions.

3. Students

Find out what your students are playing. Once you know which games they like, you’ll be able to look into the titles and put together a tech request for your program. You don’t have to know how to play to offer esports!

4. PLAY

Start Playing! If you’re feeling unsure about where to start, book a 1-on-1 consultation with us to help get you on your feet. The best thing to do is just jump into it. Start small with some in-school gaming, then try playing some friendly matches against another team to get you ready for tournaments!

Why Esports?

Getting Started

ways to PLAY

FRIENDLY/CASUAL

Join our educator’s discord server. Connect with other teachers across the country, schedule friendly matches in the games your students want to play, and access support from our community. Your students will have the opportunity to practice, develop relationships, and build capacity as digital citizens in this low key, chill game setting.

Become a member of your local provincial school esports association to play and compete in local tournaments for your chance to qualify and represent your home province in regional and national competition. No association in your province/territory? No problem. Register for one of our open regional events for your chance to earn a spot on the national stage.

COMPETITIVE

Use in-school gaming clubs as an opportunity to build a community of belonging amongst your students. These clubs can range from casual drop-in gaming opportunities to structured intra-murals. This is also the perfect forum to introduce competitive gaming and digital literacy for K-5 students. Not sure where to start? Connect with our team to get the tools you need to build your program.

SCHOOL-BASED
